These terms describe the basic rules for using Rate Am. They are product documentation and a foundation for legal review, not a substitute for advice from qualified counsel.

Use of Rate Am is subject to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. By using Rate Am, you agree to follow them. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your account information accurate. Use the service only where you are legally able to do so.
You are responsible for reviews, comments, evidence, and other content you submit. Reviews should reflect a genuine interaction, be specific and factual, and comply with the Community Guidelines. Rate Am may display eligible reviews and related business information publicly.
Anonymous reviews are presented using Rate Am's anonymous-review behaviour, but you should still avoid including private information in the review itself. Uploaded proof should be relevant and must not be misleading or unlawfully shared.
Business information may be submitted for directory and discovery purposes. Business owners are responsible for information they provide about their business. Business owners can claim their business listing, verify ownership, and manage their business profile on Rate Am.
Verified business owners can also submit review disputes if they believe a review is inaccurate or violates Rate Am's review standards. Submitting a dispute initiates a review by Rate Am moderation, but does not by itself guarantee removal, alteration, or a particular outcome.
Reviews are published immediately. Rate Am may use automated tools and human review to investigate reports, remove content, or limit or end access where reasonably necessary to apply these Terms, protect people or the platform, or comply with law. Automated systems can make mistakes and do not determine whether a customer's experience is valid.
Rate Am and its platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Users retain responsibility for the content they submit and should only upload content they have the right to share. Third-party websites and social links are provided for convenience; Rate Am does not control them.
The service may change, be unavailable, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rate Am does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of user content, or any particular business outcome.
Rate Am is a discovery and customer-experience platform, not a guarantee of a business's quality, safety, or suitability. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Rate Am may update these Terms as the product or legal requirements change.
