Personal data is information that identifies you or can be linked to you. On Rate Am, this can include account details, profile information, review activity, technical information collected for security, and content you submit.

Rate Am uses personal data to run accounts and reviews, display eligible public content, keep the community useful and safe, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

• Ask to be informed about processing and request access to your personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate information, or deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable.
• Ask about automated decision-making. Rate Am uses automated AI-assisted moderation before publishing reviews.

These rights may be subject to conditions and exceptions under applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
